The anonymous woman who accused Herschel Walker, the Republican Senate hopeful from Georgia, of forcing her to have an abortion, decided to come forward. Jane Doe (the name she took), upset with Walker's calling her a liar, appeared on a TV show with her story.
The woman’s version
Jane shared letters (allegedly written by Walker) and hotel vouchers from where they stayed together during their six-year relationship in the late 1980s. The woman said that Walker took her to a clinic in Dallas and paid for her abortion when she became pregnant accidentally, according to reports.
Weeks earlier, a different woman accused Walker of paying for her abortion in 2009 and again wanting a second one two years later. However, the woman did not terminate her second pregnancy with Walker and raise the child.
