On Tuesday, a few days after American actress Anne Heche died at the hospital after suffering a fatal car accident, she was cremated at the Los Angeles Cemetary, where she's believed to be close to many of her Hollywood peers, as per her family's statement. Almost two weeks after the doctor declared Anne Heche dead at the hospital, her body was cremated and will preserve her ashes at the tomb at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

In a statement, Homer Laffoon, Anne Heche's son, said that he and his brother, Atlas Tupper, are sure that their mother would love where her ashes are buried. The sons chose that site because it's beautiful, and she will be close to her peers from Hollywood.

For the past few years, the Hollywood Forever Cemetery has become a cultural hub for musical events, film screenings and festivals.

After his mother's death, Homer Laffoon visited the cemetery to see the My Morning Jacket, the band for which his mother had purchased tickets before her death. When he reached the place, he loved the vibe and immediately decided that his mother should be cremated at that particular place. He took it as a sign from his mother, who wanted her grave to be there.

Laffoon added that Hollywood Forever Cemetery is a living place because many Hollywood artists are buried there.

Once Anne Heche's headstone is etched there, the family will conduct a small private gathering in the memory of the late actress.
