Tristan Tate, his brother, 36, has been charged with 11 offences. Tristan is charged with rape, hurting someone, and human trafficking. One of the victims has accused both brothers.

The Crown Prosecution Service confirmed these charges publicly. The charges involve three women in total. Once evidence was collected from Bedfordshire Police, CPS went ahead with pressing charges.


Their extradition was approved by Romania to the UK by a court due to a European Arrest warrant against them in England in 2024. But the UK can’t get them yet because they have to finish their criminal cases in Romania first. According to The Telegraph report, four other women in the UK are suing Andrew Tate in a separate civil case. These women first complained in 2014, but CPS didn’t press charges back then. Lawyer Matt Jury, who represents the women, said, they’re happy that CPS is now taking action. They still want CPS to admit it made a mistake in 2019 by not prosecuting. They say these earlier victims also deserve justice.
