Controversial social media influencer Andrew Tate has been accused by a British woman of sexual assault. On Tuesday, a fourth UK woman said that Tate choked her until she passed out and sexually assaulted her. The latest claims by the British woman mounted on the accusations leveled by three other women to pursue a civil claim against the influencer.

While Andrew Tate has continued to deny the allegations of sexual assault, he is presently under house arrest in Romania for suspected human trafficking. The British woman, who is going by the name Evie, told BBC that she met Tate in 2014 in the town of Luton where the controversial personality was a club doorman.

At the time she met Andrew Tate, Evie was 20 years old and a student. She has claimed that she had a consensual sexual encounter with him and he appeared ‘nice’. However, she has said that Tate appeared more violent another time at her apartment. Evie has reportedly said that the social media influencer with millions of followers, ‘strangled’ her until she lost consciousness and he continued to sexually assault her when she got back to her senses.


Evie also told the media outlet that Tate repeatedly said phrases such as ‘you belong to me’ and issued other violent threats until he left the next morning. As per reports, she said that she did not report the alleged incident to police as she did not view it as a sexual assault until she opened up about the encounter with her friends six years later.

Moreover, Evie has said she was motivated to come forward with her allegations by reading the stories about other women who “were brave enough” to speak about Tate, and decided to join the three other women in planning a civil lawsuit against him.
