Andrew Jury cause of death: How did 33-year-old MAFS NZ, New Zealand reality show star die at Auckland jail?

New Zealand's reality show star Andrew Jury has died at a jail in Auckland. He was 33-year-old. Father of Jury, who was a star on "Married at First Sight NZ" in 2017, has expressed shock over his son's death at Mt Eden Corrections Facility, barely a few hours ahead of an appearance in the court, as per a report on New Zealand Herald.

Jury's father talked about the mental health of "Married at First Sight NZ" star when he was at the jail. Jury was arrested on April 2. Jury's father revealed that his son was struggling at the prison and stopped talking to family members and near and dear ones.


General manager of the Auckland prison said that a man died on June 27. Medical efforts were carried out to save the prisoner, the jail official said.

Police official said that there is nothing suspicious about the death and the matter now is with the office of coroner. However, there will be internal scrutiny of the incident given it is a death inside a jail.
