American NBA star Anthony Davis to undergo MRI after suffering right foot injury in match against Denver Nuggets
The American professional basketball player, Anthony Davis is going to have an MRI test after suffering a right foot injury during the Friday match with Denver-based basketball team, Denver Nuggets.

Davis sustained the injury in the first quarter of the match when his lower leg collided with Nikola Jokic’s leg when the two players wherein the midair near the basket. He started tweaking his legs and experienced discomfort then, but the team hopes that the injury not to be serious.
His Head coach, Darvin Ham said that Davis got an X-ray test before he left the field and refused to comment further until he receives the final report of the injury by the next day.
When Davis moved out of the game in the first quarter to receive immediate medical attention after the injury, the score was 2:40. Even though he returned in the second, he scored zero points on 0-for-1 shooting with one rebound and two turnovers in 8 minutes. Following this, Thomas Bryant took over his position in the third quarter and completed with 10 points on 4-for-7 shooting, 4 rebounds and two assists in 18 minutes. In case, Davis is forced to step down from the game due to the injury, Bryant would have to make largely for his absence in the team.
