Where to watch season 22
Catch the premiere of American Idol Season 22 on Sunday, February 18th, airing at 5 pm PST/ 7 pm CST/ 8 pm EST on ABC. Subsequent episodes will continue to air on Sundays, beginning the following week. If you happen to miss the broadcast, fear not! Judges and hosts
Joining the "Roar" hitmaker on the judging panel are Lionel Ritchie and Luke Bryan, who are also returning for this season. Perry revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that Season 22 would mark her final appearance as a judge. Meanwhile, the familiar face of Ryan Seacrest, the show's host since its debut in 2002, will also be back.
Mentors
Tori Kelly and Jelly Roll are set to mentor the top 24 contestants this season. The official Instagram handle of the reality show made the announcement of Kelly's involvement with the caption, "From IDOL hopeful to IDOL mentor!" As contestants vie for spots in the finals, they'll deliver their performances for the judges at the Aulani: A Disney Resort and Spa in Ko Olina.
