Amanda Bynes discloses she had cosmetic surgery on her eyelids

Amanda Bynes disclosed that she had undergone eyelid cosmetic surgery.

The celebrity stated in a selfie video uploaded to her Instagram Story on Monday, "I saw a couple of stories online that say I have a new look. I was not sure wether to be open about this news before, but I actually had blepharoplasty surgery on the skin folds in the corners of my eyes."

After the surgery, I feel so nice and confident in myself. To dispel the idea regarding why I recently changed my appearance, I just wanted to post about it, she continued.


The actress has been in and out of mental health facilities this year; it is unknown when she underwent the treatment.

The actress, who looked amazing in her new platinum blonde hairstyle on Thursday, criticized the pictures, saying that the "harsh" sunshine made her "look terrible" by casting "shadows" on her face.

When Amanda's parents Lynn and Rick Bynes moved to place her under conservatorship in 2013, they expressed worries about their daughter's intentions to have plastic surgery.

After almost nine years, Amanda's conservatorship came to an end in March 2022.
