‘All Too Well’ to be screened at New York’s Tribeca Film Festival by Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift got an invite from the New York's Tribeca Film Festival because of her latest directorial venture. It came as a big surprise for many to see the name of Taylor Swift in the lineup for the 2022 Reunions and Talks series, which Tribeca Film Festival declared on Monday.

"All Too Well: The Short Film" will be screened by Taylor Swift, who is 32-year-old and holds a Grammy Award.

The event titled "A Conversation with Taylor Swift" will happen on June 11 at the Beacon Theater around 3 in the afternoon in front of a live audience.


Paula Weinstein, who is the Chief Content Officer of the Tribeca Film Festival, released a statement stating that "We are very excited and enthusiastic to present a compelling slate of Reunions, Master Classes and Talks from one of the most leading and well-known storytellers from all across art, comedy, music, television and film."

Further, Paula Weinstein added, "We are also pretty sure that our audience would love this wonderful opportunity to hear from such a diverse lineup of award-winning leaders."

Last year in the month of November, Taylor Swift had also released a small short film titled "All Too Well", which was kind of a 10-minute short version of her song, which she had released in the same month.

In this short film, the actors of "Stranger Things" were cast, namely Dylan O'Brien and Sadie Sink. In which star Dylan O'Brien had acted as a young Taylor Swift.

There were rumours that the song was dedicated to Gyllenhaal, who seemed to be dating Taylor Swift, but she never accepted it officially.

Reports also stated that Taylor Swift and Gyllenhaal dated till December 2010, starting from October 2010 the couple separated just before Taylor Swift's 21st birthday.
