April Blair created the American football series All American, which is inspired by the real-life of a pro football player, Spencer Paysinger. This American sports drama television series has been renewed for the seventh season, which will premiere in 2025 on Netflix. It will be the last series to be acquired from The CW, an American commercial broadcast television network.

Plot

When a talented football player from South L.A. signs a contract to play for Beverly Hills High, the successes, disappointments, and struggles of two very different families—Crenshaw and Beverly Hills—come together. Teen football players must overcome obstacles like brewing rivalries and cross-cultural conflicts. Spencer James' journey from high school football to the top flight is chronicled in the series.

The CW has not yet announced the premiere date for season 7, but given that filming will start on October 21 and run through March 17 of 2025, it’s believed that it will air in the middle of the season. Information about whether this will be the last season is nebulous, as per a report quoted by What’s on Netflix.

As per a pattern observed by ‘What’s on Netflix’, every season has been available on Netflix for approximately nine days following The CW's broadcast of the season finale. Their best estimate is that after airing on The CW from January to the spring, it will soon be available on Netflix. This show marks Netflix's final scripted program and is most likely to remain on Netflix through 2030.
