What is Alina Habba's net worth? This question about US president Donald Trump’s ex-personal lawyer Alina Habba gained momentum after a federal appellate court on Monday blocked Alina Habba from serving as the head of the US attorney’s office in New Jersey.

In a unanimous decision, a three-judge panel of the US Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit ruled that the Trump administration’s personnel maneuvers to position Habba as acting US attorney did not comply with federal vacancy rules, reports multiple outlets. The court found that Habba was ineligible under the Federal Vacancies Reform Act because she “was not the First Assistant US Attorney at the time the vacancy arose.” The judges also noted that her nomination for the permanent role triggered the FVRA’s “nomination bar,” which prevents a nominee from simultaneously serving as acting U.S. attorney.

The ruling upholds a lower court decision disqualifying Habba from participating in two criminal prosecutions, after defendants argued that she was occupying the post unlawfully.

Beyond the legal battle, public attention has also turned to Habba’s personal and financial profile. Her net worth is estimated (until 2024) to be between $1 million and $5 million, according to a report by The Times of India. The valuation reflects her years in private legal practice, her high-visibility role as one of Donald Trump’s attorneys, and her rise in political and federal legal circles.
