Al Roker makes a comeback on 'Today'. See details
After undergoing a knee replacement surgery recently, TV weatherman Al Roker has returned to 'Today'. He joined the show after a nearly three-week absence.

"Al is back with us this morning!" said the Today show on Twitter. "The beloved weatherman returned to TODAY less than one month after his total knee replacement surgery," it added.
On his return, the star told the show's co-anchors Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie, "It's all good. It's good to see you guys."
While gesturing toward the cameras in the New York studio where the show is filmed, the weatherman added, "It's good to see you, folks."
"I've got a new knee," Roker said. The weatherman, while talking about how he's feeling, said he's "all good."
Roker added, "This was a much more involved operation because they were taking out a knee and putting a new knee back in, but that said, it's coming along well."
In the May 15 episode of the program, the long-time weatherman appeared via a video link and gave a health update. He was recovering after undergoing second knee replacement surgery in two years.
"This one is a little more complicated because it was what they call a revision; it was a replacement of a replacement, so they had to take stuff out, put stuff in, so it was a bit of a bear. So we've just been kind of hanging out and chilling out, not doing anything -- which I know a lot of people find hard to believe, but in fact, that is the case," he said.
In late 2022, Roker was also hospitalized for around two months due to other health issues.
