Famous weatherman Al Roker gave an update on his knee surgery recovery by appearing virtually on NBC's Today show.

Al Roker joked, "It's Monday, I'm home from the hospital. Just another day!" When asked about his recovery progress, the 68-year-old TV presenter-weatherman updated his friends and colleagues that his knee still felt “stiff.”
During his downtime, Al Roker has been catching up on his favourite TV shows, and spending time with his family. Roker shared that he had hoped to continue his tradition of going to his favourite restaurant, Daniel, but due to his recovery, they ordered quiche and had a lovely meal in their backyard, enjoying the beautiful weather.
Regarding his return to the Today show, Al Roker shared that he still has some work to do, including attending physical rehab three days a week for several months. He is hoping to be back in the next two weeks but will take it day by day. Roker emphasized that he won't return before he is ready.
During Monday's segment on the Today show, Roker expressed his gratitude to his doctor, Dr David Mayman, and the nurses and staff at Hospital for Special Surgery, who he described as "terrific."
Al Roker underwent a total knee replacement on May 9, 2023. It comes as a second knee surgery as he was earlier diagnosed in April last year.
