Wilson capped the milestone with a driving left-hand layup late in the first quarter and finished with 5,015 points, surpassing Breanna Stewart’s previous mark of 242 games to 5,000.
Jackie Young added 20 points, and Chelsea Gray posted a near triple-double with 15 points, seven rebounds, six assists and three blocks. Jewell Loyd chipped in 13, and the trio combined for nine of Las Vegas’s 11 three-pointers.
The Aces opened with a 19-0 run as Connecticut went 0-for-10 to start and committed five turnovers before the Sun finally scored.
Tina Charles paced Connecticut with 18 points, while Olivia Nelson-Ododa and Saniya Rivers contributed 12 and 10, respectively.
The Sun fell to 2–13 and have now dropped seven straight games and six in a row to Las Vegas.
On Sunday, the Aces halted a three-game slide - their longest skid since being swept by Los Angeles in the 2020 WNBA Finals - by downing Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever 89–81.
