Ahead of election day, hotline launched to help voters

Tuesday is election day, and it is very likely that the voters will have many issues and questions regarding the same. Along with that, they also might face some problems regarding casting their ballots; thus, a hotline was made for Hoosiers to help them and solve their issues as soon as possible.

On Tuesday which is May 3, you can contact the toll-free Election Protection hotline: 866-OUR-VOTE between 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern Time to solve any of your requirements regarding the election. The volunteer attorney will assist you with a proper response.

There is a separate hotline for those who know Spanish and want hotline assistance in the Spanish language and also for those who want the hotline assistance in the Asian language.


888-VE-Y-VOTA is a hotline in the Spanish language, while 888-API-VOTE is a hotline in the Asian language.

Officials have stated that "The hotline is there for you, so if you face any kind of difficulty with vote-by-mail, voter intimidation, accessibility issues or even need any further information about the election, then you can freely reach out to the hotline, and we will help you by assisting you in the right direction."
