After surviving cardiac arrest, Christian Eriksen gets back on field. See which team is he playing for

After a long gap, Christian Eriksen is back on the field. He will play for Manchester United in the Premier League now.

It has now been almost two-and-a-half years since Eriksen collapsed on the field during the Euro 2020.

The attacking midfielder received immediate medical attention on the pitch after he suffered a cardiac arrest mid-match in Copenhagen. Eriksen was rushed to hospital, later the doctors informed the team and media that he had suffered a cardiac arrest and could have died if not treated properly. The team’s doctor Morten Boesen, who was treating Eriksen said, it was a miracle that the player survived.




Eriksen while playing the game stumbled and dropped on the ground where he lay motionless for a couple of minutes. However, it is still unclear why Eriksen suffered the heart attack. Due to the incidents, the 42-minute game against Finland was delayed but not postponed.

Erikson had to leave the club as a part of the rehabilitation process for the player to recuperate.

It was in December 2021, a little over six months after his collapse, when Eriksen bid adieu to the Italian club.

The young and talented 30-year-old football player quickly became an integral part of Ten Hag's team at Old Trafford. He is healthy and plays in the central midfielder role. Eriksen scored his first league goal for his new club – Manchester United and played against Fulham in November.
