A spokeswoman of Andrew Cabot, who is a businessman, told PEOPLE that he and Kristin "were privately and amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert."

The response came after Kristin Cabot filed a divorce petition weeks after the kiss cam scandal. On one hand, Andrew spoke up on the separation, while on the other, Kristin has remained tight-lipped after the news of the petition surfaced. Cabot and Byron were caught by surprise when singer Chris Martin asked the cameras to scan the crowd for his “Jumbotron Song” during the concert last week at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
