After Kristin Cabot’s husband cleared the air over divorce, what did ex-Astronomer HR involved in the Coldplay kiss cam incident say?
Andrew Cabot, estranged husband of Kristin Cabot, has clarified that their separation occurred before the kiss cam incident involving Kristin and former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron at a Coldplay concert. Andrew's spokeswoman stated the divorce was a...

The response came after Kristin Cabot filed a divorce petition weeks after the kiss cam scandal. On one hand, Andrew spoke up on the separation, while on the other, Kristin has remained tight-lipped after the news of the petition surfaced. PEOPLE requested a spokesperson for Kristin to comment on the divorce issue, but there was no response when this report was filed.
Speaking to PEOPLE, Andrew Cabot’s spokeswoman said, "Their decision to divorce was already underway prior to that evening." "Now that the divorce filing is public, Andrew hopes this provides respectful closure to speculation and allows his family the privacy they’ve always valued. No further public comment will be made," the spokeswoman continued. Andrew Cabot, 61, is an entrepreneur and the CEO of Privateer Rum.
Following the Coldplay kiss cam incident, Cabot, the executive in charge of human resources at tech company Astronomer, resigned. Her departure followed the resignation of CEO Andy Byron, who quit after the company said he was being put on leave pending an investigation.
Cabot and Byron were caught by surprise when singer Chris Martin asked the cameras to scan the crowd for his “Jumbotron Song” during the concert last week at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
They were shown cuddling and smiling, but when they saw themselves on the big screen, Cabot's jaw dropped, her hands flew to her face, and she spun away from the camera while Byron ducked out of the frame. “Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy,” Martin joked in a video that spread quickly around the internet.
