As a part of the iPhone 17 series, the tech giant launched iPhone 17 phones: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The company also unveiled Apple Watch SE, Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and AirPods Pro 3.

Choose the payment method

The trade-in value can be applied to any payment option. If the buyers choose Buy, Apple will credit the payment method after the company receives and evaluates the trade-in. If a buyer finances through Apple, the credit is applied instantly. On the other hand, if the buyer chooses to finance with a carrier, the maximum trade-in value will be applied as an instant credit or bill credits (depending on the carrier). If a buyer selects a carrier deal, Apple will let the buyer know if they need to switch to a qualifying plan.

Get ready to trade in the device

The buyer will keep the trade-in device until they receive the new product. Apple will send a trade-in kit and email instructions on how to back up and transfer the data and how to prep the device before shipping it back. The users opting for trade-in may receive the kit along with the new product. Otherwise, it will be mailed to the users separately as soon as the order is ready for delivery or pickup.

Ship the trade-in device within 14 days of receiving the trade-in kit

After Apple receives the device, the company’s team will inspect and verify its condition. If the device matches the original condition, the trade-in will be complete. If it doesn’t, the user will get an email with next steps.
