Molly Clarke shared a picture of the cat, named Fishtopher, on his Twitter account. The cat's photo has become a hit and gone viral. The image was captured at the Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Centre in Blackwood, New Jersey.

The pet had an interesting bio and was described as a "very sad and depressed" kitty. But what was more surprising is that the pet adores affection and eats only when people are around it. Fishtopher's photos showed expressions of sorrow on his face. Looking at the online popularity, anyone would pity this pet.

Thanks to the popularity, Fishtopher is now a celebrity. And this has allowed him to have a new home. Reports say hundreds of people expressed interest in adopting and offering a new home to this chubby kitty, Fishtopher. On Saturday, the adoption center was quite excited to hear the news of the adoption of Fishtopher.
