Trump Navy parade 2025: After a multimillion-dollar military parade in Washington, D.C., that left US president Donald Trump feeling underwhelmed, his administration is now reportedly exploring a new idea to cheer him up by organising a grand Navy parade at the sea, as per a report.

Donald Trump Disappointed After $30 Million Military Parade

The event, which was held on June 14 to mark 250 years of the US Army and also Trump’s 79th birthday, was the largest military parade in decades and cost taxpayers $30 million, according to Daily Beast. But the celebration didn’t land quite as hoped.

Following the military parade, footage of “lackluster” soldiers marching out of step quickly spread online, and sparse crowd photos circulated widely, as per the report. At one point, photos suggested that the US president may have briefly closed his eyes during the event, as per Daily Beast.


Meanwhile, the talk show host Jimmy Kimmel even aired a footage of what looked like the president dozzing off during his parade, according to the report. Kimmel mocked Trump and said, “There’s Sleepy Don taking it all in,” adding, “And in fairness, that’s as close as he gets to be able to sleep with his wife, so he took the opportunity,” as quoted by Daily Beast.

‘No Kings’ Protest Overshadows Parade With 4 Million Demonstrators

During the same time as the military parade, protests had erupted across the country under the banner of “No Kings,” drawing more than 4 million people in 820 locations, which was one of the largest single-day protests in US history, as reported by Daily Beast.

While the White House Communications Director Steven Cheung claimed that “over 250,000″ patriots had come for the June 14 parade, but visuals of empty stands and significant gaps in the crowd suggested that the turnout may have fallen short of expectations, as per the report.

Donald Trump Hopes for a “Shimmering Spectacle” on Sea

Now, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal, insiders have revealed that Trump administration is planning to do-over a parade, which could be taking place at sea this time.

Trump had reportedly told his aides that he was disappointed with the marching during his birthday parade and has said that he was hoping the Navy could deliver a grander celebration, as reported by Daily Beast.
