After announcing her pregnancy, singer Britney Spears quits social media for a few weeks

It's not been long since Britney Spears, a singer, declared her pregnancy, and now she has announced that she is going to take a small break from social media. She won't be active on Instagram or any other social media platforms over the upcoming few weeks.

Britney has two children from her previous marriage- Jayden James, who is 15 years old, and Sean Preston, who is 16 years old. She is expecting her third child, but it will be her first child with Sam Asghari, her new fiance.

Back in September, when Sam Asghari had proposed to Britney, she had taken the same step to take a break from social media platforms after making the announcement that "Sam has proposed to me and we are getting married."


At that time, Britney had also deleted her Instagram page, for which she had given an explanation that she wanted to celebrate and enjoy her engagement as she was soon getting married.

Earlier this week, Britney had also opened up about her special moments as a new child's mother and said: "I really love to hold these precious moments of my life, and I just want the time to stop. I am more happy than anything else that I am holding a beautiful and holy soul inside me, which makes me feel even more blessed."

After Britney shared a post in which she was rolling around in the Mexican heat on the beach, her fans had started to guess the gender of her new child.

And fans were really very quick to flood the comments and show their love towards Britney as she looked as beautiful as she was before pregnancy, commenting: "We are pretty sure it's a baby girl."

Britney has often expressed that she wanted another child from her last relationship with Jamie Spears, but it wasn't possible as he had kept her on mandatory birth control.

Britney has also spoken about the horrible postpartum depression and how she had passed through it in her previous pregnancy.
