Adrian Posivenko of Central High School recognized as National Merit semi-finalist by College Board

Senior Adrian Posivenko of Central High School has been named a National Merit Scholarship Program semi-finalist, placing him among the nation’s top academically talented students. This honor recognizes exceptional performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT), taken in the fall, and reflects Posivenko’s outstanding dedication and scholastic excellence.

According to a press release, as quoted by thecitymenus.com, Adrian hopes to attend the Georgia Institute of Technology and earn a degree in Mechatronics - the study of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and robotics.

In addition to Posivenko’s achievement, Central High celebrates the accomplishments of seniors Sandra Rivera, Max Kubik, and Addison Smith, who have been named Commended National Merit Scholars. Their recognition highlights consistent academic excellence and positions them among the top scorers nationwide.
