Change in the Script

The original The Bad Seed debuted in 2018, and the fans of the popular movie had no option but to wait for four years for the next edition. Interestingly, McKenna and her dad originally co-wrote the script. In addition, McKenna is also one of the executive producers. However, Lifetime found the original screenplay to be a little dark and gloomy. The company, therefore, brought in another writer to do the script with a toned-down impact.
