Actress Lily Collins of "Emily In Paris" and her husband, film director Charlie McDowell, shared the news of the arrival of their first child.

With an Instagram celebratory post, they shared the good news. It said, "Welcome to the center of our world Tove Jane McDowell.”

They also added a gratitude note “Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way.”


The post includes a picture of their beautiful daughter, Tove, sleeping in a baby basket with a blanket bearing her name on it. For the final line of the post, the couple added, “We love you to the moon and back...”

The blissful news of the birth of their daughter came a day after Collins shared a tribute post for her father, Phil Collins, on his birthday via Instagram.

She posted a picture of her with her father together at Collins’ Hollywood Walk of Fame induction ceremony in 1999, when she was just 10 years old.

She wrote, “From a West Coast star to the West End stage and everywhere in between, I’m so grateful to be by your side and for the support, experiences, and love we have and will continue to share."
