The three-time WNBA MVP appeared to land awkwardly with 4:13 left in the half and stayed on the court for several moments before being helped up by teammates. She walked to the bench under her own power to a warm ovation from the Barclays Center crowd.
Wilson, who had a quiet start to the game, made one free throw-her only point of the night—before heading to the locker room with 2:22 remaining in the half.
She missed all three of her shot attempts but contributed four rebounds and two assists. She did not return for second-half warmups, and the team later announced she would not return.
Wilson entered the game averaging 21.9 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per contest. Earlier in the evening, she was selected by Caitlin Clark to join her team for the upcoming WNBA All-Star Game on July 19 in Indianapolis.
