Accelerated battle pass and tier skips included in Diablo 4 ultimate edition, announces Blizzard

Blizzard has announced some exciting features for Diablo 4. Earlier this year, the company announced that Diablo 4 will have a modern live-service approach by implementing battle passes.

Diablo 4 is going to follow Diablo 3’s seasonal model. The cosmetics and live events in the game are not going to be pay-to-win.
However, it was released that if the gamer purchases the Ultimate Edition, they will get an accelerated seasonal battle pass and 20-tier skips. The gamer can get through battle passes faster than normal.


The Digital Deluxe Edition can be purchased at $89.99, and the Ultimate Edition at $99.99. Gamers can compare the features of both editions under the Compare Products section.

Digital Deluxe Edition offers four-day early access, the temptation mount, the premium seasonal battle pass, and more. The early access pass has gotten mixed feedback from the audience. Ragestyles commented that giving early access to DD owners will not feel like the game is being released at the same time for everyone.



On the other hand, with the Ultimate Edition, the gamer will get all the above-mentioned perks, but instead of the premium seasonal battle pass, they will get the accelerated seasonal battle pass. They will also get the Wings of the Creator emote.

However, Overwatch 2’s battle passes have been controversial among gamers, and the same reaction is seen in the gaming community for Diablo 4.
