Peacock will begin streaming this vampire horror comedy 'Abigail' from Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett on July 19, 2024, reports 'Deadline.' Stephen Shields and Guy Busick have written the horror movie, which stars Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, Kathryn Newton, Will Catlett, Kevin Durand, Angus Cloud, Alisha Weir and Giancarlo Esposito. William Sherak, James Vanderbilt, Paul Neinstein, Tripp Vinson and Chad Villella have produced the film, while Ron Lynch is the Executive Producer. When the film was released in theaters in April, it collected a revenue of $42 million at the box office.

Radio Silence's first horror movie

Radio Silence is best known for 'Scream' films, and its hit film, “Ready or Not”, but they came out with their first horror movie this year with 'Abigail'. Film critics have called it 'a gory masterpiece' filled with twists and turns from beginning to the end and the viewers can not know what will happen next. The first half is full of chaos and destruction. It first introduces the kidnappers under their aliases Joey (Barrera), Frank (Dan Stevens), Rickles (William Catlett), Sammy (Newton), Peter (Kevin Durand), Dean (Cloud) and Lambert (Giancarlo Esposito) as they kidnap Abigail, a dancer and the child of a powerful figure.

'Abigail': What happens in a secluded mansion?

The second part of the film deals with what happened after the ballerina was kidnapped. The group of kidnappers takes her to a secluded mansion where they hold her captive in hopes of receiving ransom money. They could not believe that they had kidnapped a vampire. They could know it only after the innocently looking 12-year-old little girl comes out of captivity and wreaks havoc on the kidnappers.
