A pretty renowned ABC News correspondent tragically lost her extremely hard earned dream home in the Palisades fire where she had just spent a single night.

According to People, in an emotional Instagram post, Zohreen Shah revealed that the property, which she and her husband Rishi had just moved into, was a total loss. Adding onto that, she also said that they had spent six years searching for their ‘dream home’ which they finally closed on just before Christmas.
While describing the home as ‘magical’, Zohreen Shah recalled that how it felt like a sanctuary with its beautiful surroundings and ocean views. Tragically, it was noted that they only spent one night there before wildfires ravaged the area beginning from the date of January 7, asserted People.
Zohreen Shah eventually reflected on her pride in saving for the down payment while putting emphasis on the fact that her parents never owned a home.
As of recent times, the Pacific Palisades Fire has burned over 23,700 acres and is only 18% contained, noted People. The cause of this devastating wildfire is still totally unknown and is under investigation with experts noting that dry vegetation and strong winds exacerbated the situation.
