Aaron Rodgers of Green Bay Packers holds talks with New York Jets, claim reports
Aaron Rodgers has reportedly spoken with the New York Jets and is open to playing in New York. A trade out of Green Bay Packers is the only option if the Packers want to move on to Jordan Love or if Rodgers is ready for a new challenge.

Reportedly, the Packers planned to replace Rodgers as their starter with Jordan Love and were ready to trade Rodgers if he elected to remain with the team. A source with ties to the Packers' front office claimed that the selection of Rodgers' position has started.
Rodgers appears to be considering what it might be like to leave and join another team. He would have needed permission from the Packers to speak with other clubs, which they were probably more than happy to do.
As owner Woody Johnson has made it clear he will pay whatever it takes to win the Super Bowl, it has long been believed that the Jets are the club most interested in Rodgers.
That would appear to support many of the other rumors that the Packers' greatest chance to trade Rodgers would be with the Jets when a person associated with another club in the quarterback market on Monday claimed he was told the Jets were the team going after him hottest.
Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst stated last week that he still needed to have crucial discussions with Rodgers regarding the future. Rodgers has not officially declared his plans for the 2023 campaign. It's conceivable that those discussions are over and that the subsequent actions are in progress.
A trade out of Green Bay is the only option if the Packers want to move on to Jordan Love or if Aaron Rodgers is ready for a new challenge in professional football.
The Jets are in severe need of a seasoned quarterback, and have identified four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers as their top choice.
For context, Wingo stated in 2021 that if Randall Cobb joined the Packers prior to Rodgers' comeback, Rodgers would be there.
