The German city struggles with anger, fear, and grief. The mood in Magdeburg is being reported as night falls, less than twenty-four hours after a deadly attack at a Christmas market left at least five people dead and numerous others injured. They had essentially made Magdeburg's entire city centre into an emergency room, as quoted in a report by CNN.

However, for many of the city's citizens, all of that craziness has now vanished and transformed into sheer grief. Others are experiencing high levels of tension, and some are wondering if they will be better protected in the future.

It is now dark in the Christmas market. It has been cordoned off completely. There is a lot of anger regarding security, and there is a lot of grief among many people right now.

What happened in German market?

A car crashed into a busy Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany, on Friday, killing at least five people, including a nine-year-old child, and injuring numerous others. Authorities reported that more than 200 people were hurt, with about 40 of them suffering critical injuries.

According to authorities, the suspect is a 50-year-old Saudi Arabian physician who has been residing in Germany since 2006 and practices in Saxony-Anhalt.
