92 per cent of Moroccan women tangled in housework compared to 24 per cent of men, claims report

According to Morocco’s High Commissioner for Planning, in Morocco, 92 per cent of women do housework compared to 24 per cent of men. However, 87 per cent of men and 85 per cent of women are content with the unequal allocation of family chores.

According to the HCP survey, women spend four hours and seventeen minutes daily on home duties, while males spend 38 minutes. Women spend three hours and 51 minutes on housekeeping, while males spend five minutes on cooking, cleaning, and laundry.


In data distribution, HCP's research indicates that urban women spend four hours and 40 minutes on housework, while rural women spend four hours and 43 minutes.
