80 veterans followed by FOX 17 on Mid-Michigan honor flight
Sergeant Mike Davis of the US Army reports to Camp Grayling for one final mission.

The Tour of Honor.He will be part of a group of 80 veterans seeing monuments dedicated to the men and women who sacrificed the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Mike Davis praised everyone for their service and said it was a pleasure to meet everyone. But the impact of this journey was considerably more profound.
It's about the connection, the comradery, and for others, it's therapeutic. Secretary of the Mid-Michigan Pleasure Flight Board Kathy Barnes stated that it was an honor to witness the healing that may come from their emotions since tears can be extremely purifying. She went on to say that they've had vets come to her and say they didn't believe the hole in his heart would ever heal.
Barnes stated that it was worth every second and that he intends to enjoy it again tomorrow. This trip was worth the wait for Davis, who said it has been on his bucket list for a lot of years.
