8-foot bull shark attacks 10-year-old boy in Florida. Check out the details
A 10-year-old boy was attacked by a 8-foot bull shark in Florida when he was on a vacation with his family.

Although there has been no confirmation from the authorities, the family believes that it was an 8-foot bull shark. The boy screamed and cried for help while staying afloat on a noodle. His father gathered the entire family on a boat and rushed to rescue his son. They managed to put a tourniquet on his leg and were able to get some help from a nurse, who was on another board. The parents tightly tied his leg to stop it from bleeding while the boy continued to repeat that Jesus will save him. A different boat took James and his mother to the shore while paramedics took over.
The boy’s right leg below the knee had to be amputated to save his life as a lot of damage had been caused.
James Jr. is currently out of surgery and doing well. An online fundraiser was created in the name of James Jr. and had collected $34,000 till Monday afternoon. His uncle wrote a lengthy Facebook post where he mentions that Jameson is a very strong man. They were afraid that they could have lost the little boy but believed that his fearless faith in God helped him through. He also mentioned that the shark made its choice and nothing could be done about it but is grateful that it chose to spare his life. No details were released by The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission but the incident was confirmed by a spokesman.
Another likely incident took place on June 29 when a Texas-based woman was attacked by a shark while swimming. His husband saw nothing but blood in the water. She received a blood transfusion and had a laceration on her leg.
