72-year-old woman gets stabbed by 100-pound sailfish in Florida. Check out details
The septuagenarian woman informed the officials that she was standing near the center console when she got stabbed in the groin by the sailfish. Sailfish is one of the fastest fish species in water and can swim faster than 50 mph.

On the morning of July 19, two people were trying to catch the fish off the Florida coast when it jumped out and stabbed the woman on the boat.
Who was the woman?
The injured woman was later identified as Katherine Perkins of Maryland. She was 72-year-old and was on a boat with two other passengers, Louis Toth and Dominic Bellezza.
Katherine informed the officials that she was standing near the center console when she got stabbed in the groin by the sailfish. The other two passengers claimed that the sailfish was chasing the boat before it jumped out and stabbed Katherine Perkins.
According to Katherine, everything happened so suddenly that she did not get time to process or save herself.
The other two passengers, Toth and Bellezaa, helped Katherine and applied pressure to stop the wound until they reached the shore almost an hour later. After docking, fire officials came and nursed the wound and took Katherine to the nearby hospital.
