The Season 1 of What If…? was the first entry of MCU in the multiverse. It introduced characters such as Captain Carter, Infinity Ultron, and The Watcher. With the streaming of Season 2, there are a host of other characters who are introduced. The new three segments introduce us to a new superhero called Kahhori, Avengers 1602, and Nebula, who becomes a member of Nova Corps and others.

King T’Chaka who is the father of T’Challa in MCU, is played by Atandwa Kani and the man holding the mantle of the Black Panther. In Black Panther, T’Chaka was played by Kani and he can also be observed in Life is Wild, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, and Wild at Heart.

Karen Gillian playing the Nebula

Karen Gillian has given voice to the character of Nebula. He has been known as the adopted child of Thanos since Guardians of the Galaxy, 2014. Nebula is leading an episode in What If…? Season 2, showing the instance of the outcome if Nebula becomes a Nova Corps member.

Kat Dennings playing Darcy

Celestial Ego played by Kurt Russel was initially introduced in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. He is the biological father of Peter Quill, played by Chris Pratts. Though, he was murdered in the movie, What If…? brings the character back to life.
