55% of the Democrats in favor of Joe Biden’s continuation, Trump secures a 2% lead over Biden in the latest national survey
A survey has found that Biden still has the support of the Democrats after the first US Presidential Debate. Trump has a slight edge over Biden with 45% of the respondents reposing their faith in his capabilities to lead the nation.

All the findings have been revealed by the agency after it conducted a survey. This survey was conducted after the first US Presidential Debate and before Joe Biden delivered a speech in North Carolina. Overall, 45% of the voters are in favor of Trump as compared to only 43% who favor Biden.

Have the voters decided on their favorite candidate?
83% of the registered voters who have chosen a candidate said that they will be voting for that particular candidate and this included 86% of Trump’s supporters and 87% of Biden’s supporters. Among the other candidates, only 40% of the voters expressed their interest in voting for third party candidates. 55% of the third-party voters said that they may vote for other candidates. As compared to this, only 12% of Trump’s supporters and 11% of Biden’s supporters said that they may vote for the other candidates.Are Trump and Biden capable enough to lead the country?
48% of the voters felt that Trump is capable of being the next president while only 29% felt that Biden is up to the job. 45% of the voters said that Trump is incapable of entering office whereas 57% of the respondents said that Biden is not fit enough to become the US president. 94% of Trump’s voters said that he is capable of being the president whereas only 64% of Biden’s supporters feel that he is fit to hold office.Should Biden be replaced on the ballot box?
This was a question posed only to Democrats. 55% of them said that Biden should continue to contest the upcoming election and only 34% of the them said that he should let another candidate contest the poll.Who is likely to replace Biden?
If Biden does not step aside, 57% of the respondents said that he should be permitted to continue and 33% said that he should be replaced. Among the candidates to replace Biden, 43% said that US Vice-President Kamala Harris is a good choice. 16% of them said that California Governor Gavin Newsom was an ideal candidate. There were other choices too.
