Marine transport of the US had an accident on Wednesday afternoon. It was carrying five marines to a remote location in the southern California desert. According to federal information to the media, four of the five marines were found dead. There is no report or contact with the fifth one.

The reason behind this unfortunate incident is still not apparent. The aircraft was from the third marine Aircraft Wing. The timing of the crash was reported to be around noon (12:25 pm) local time zone.

What did Major Mason Englehart say about the crash?
Major Mason Englehart confirmed to the media that the MV-22b Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft spiraled down in the desert region of Glamis in southern California. Army men and citizens of the area were the first to locate and respond to the crash.

MV-22b Osprey is used as a transport vehicle to re-locate troops and armies and also distribute the supplies. It flies like an aeroplane, but it is designed to take to the air and land like a chopper. Glamis is situated in the rural portion of Imperial County. It is approximately 50 miles north of the America-Mexica border.

Englehart also informed that the craft was carrying five marines with it. He was unsure about the exact number of people on board, including all the working officials, or if there were any immediate deaths or fatal injuries.

The third marine aircraft is from the Marine Corps Air Station in Miramar. The Osprey, on the other hand, is from the Marine Corps Air Station of Camp Pendleton. Englehart observed that they both belonged from a nearby place named San Diego County.
