2023 Players Championship: Know how to watch on TV, stream online and more

The 2023 Players Championship has begun on Thursday morning at TPC Sawgrass with 44 of the top 50 players in the world competing in the PGA Tour's signature event. This comes after a scorching hot stretch on the tour and a couple of tremendous designated events. The tournament takes place just under a month before major season starts with the 2023 Masters.

Rory McIlroy, who finished second at the Arnold Palmer Invitational last week, is favored to win alongside Scottie Scheffler, with Jon Rahm following closely behind on the Caesars Sportsbook odds board. Although defending champion Cameron Smith will not be in attendance after joining LIV Golf, the two prior champions, Justin Thomas and Collin Morikawa, are among the top names in the field. However, Thomas needs to improve his recent inconsistent form if he hopes to win for the second time in three years.
