2022 NFL schedule: Cowboys’ Legend Troy Aikman to soon announce dates
ESPN will soon broadcast “Monday Night Football”, and the show’s host revealed that the 2022 NFL schedule would soon be out. Aikman and Buck shared a few details in the latest episode of Good Morning America.

The NFL’s first schedule announcement came with a staggered start slate set for Week 2. There will be a doubleheader in the second week as two games are scheduled for one night—Titans at Bills on ESPN and Vikings at Eagles on ABC. While the former match will be telecasted at 6:15 PM CT, ESPN will telecast the last game at 08:00 PM CT.
However, the entire 2022 NFL schedule will be released later this week on Thursday. But, NFL will make small and significant announcements about the league sooner or later.
Aikman left Fox and signed a new broadcast deal with ESPN. His partner, Joe Buck’s contract with Fox, also had expired and followed Akiman, the Hall of Famer, to his new gig.
The only thing that’s confirmed for now is that six games for the current season of NFL have been planned and set. All these games will be held overseas.
Unfortunately, the Dallas Cowboys are not playing overseas in the 2022 NFL. However, they will have a Monday Night Football presence.
Out of the first six overseas games, the first match of the 2022 NFL will take place on Monday night. The game would be between the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals in Mexico City on November 21.
Aikman, who is a three-time Super Bowl champ with the Dallas Cowboys, is a good friend of Buck. Together, they have been broadcasting since 2002.
In a statement, Aikman said that he’s glad to be the voice of the upcoming Monday Night Football. Being a part of the NFL on ESPN has motivated him and is a significant move in his career.
