Japan celebrated the last day of the MAMA awards 2022 on November 30, 2022.

On day 1, awards such as the icon of the year, new artist, fan’s choice, chill artists, and Asian artists were given. In addition, BTS was honoured with a platinum MAMA award for being a worldwide sensation. In all, BTS took three awards out of 4, i.e. platinum, an album of the year, and artist of the year.

• Jay Park won best urban music awards.
