2022 FIFA World Cup: Morocco supporters left devastated as Doha flights cancelled last-minute

Seven extra flights promised by Royal Air Maroc to Qatar were cancelled on Wednesday. Many Morocco fans were excited to witness the historic semi-final, but their dreams were crushed due to the decision.

Royal Air Maroc, the national airline of Morocco, promised that seven more flights would fly before the anticipated France versus Morocco semi-final. This decision was taken after Morocco's football association planned to give out thirteen thousand free tickets to the fans.

On December 14, the Qatari officials cancelled all the extra flights.

Many Moroccan fans were left heartbroken as the flights are now cancelled. They cannot travel to Qatar to witness the FIFA World Cup semi-final.
