2022 American Music Awards nominations: Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift, Drake, Beyoncé lead

The most awaited music show, the American Music Awards (AMA) 2022, has declared its nominations. It will be held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on November 20 and it will be televised on ABC.

BAD BUNNY with eight nominations, has the greatest number of nominations, followed by Drake, Taylor Swift, and Beyoncé, with six nominations each. Adele, Harry Styles, and The Weeknd have five nominations each.

Bad Bunny's is nominated for Favorite Latin Song, Music Video, Male Pop Artist, Latin Album, Touring Artist, Pop Album, and Male Latin Artist. If he wins, he would be in the same class as Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston for the most awards in a single year.

Adele and The Weeknd's Artist of the Year nominations, and Adele and Harry Styles' nominations in the Favorite Pop Song category, mark a number of firsts among the 2022 American Music Awards (AMA) candidates. Jack Harlow and Tems are both nominated for the first time, with four nominations each. This year, almost 40 musicians, including Latto, Blackpink, Anitta, and Swedish House Mafia, won their first AMA nominations.
