The new episode of 1923 Season 2 will be released on March 23, 2025. The episode focuses on the search for Teonna. Alexandra and Spencer will be on separate trains, adjusting to their situations.

1923 Season 2 consists of eight episodes, the same as Season 1. Initially, there was only one planned season. However, Taylor Sheridan, the show's creator, realized that more time was needed to complete the story. Paramount agreed to split the season into two parts.


Sheridan stated that the show was different from 1883. He did not have a complete plan from the start and decided to extend the story. He informed the network that he needed more episodes to do justice to the storyline. The two-season structure allowed for more detailed storytelling.

Plot

The season focuses on Jacob and Cara Dutton as they attempt to settle Donald Whitfield’s taxes on the ranch. Spencer and Alexandra are also on separate journeys toward Montana.

The official synopsis states that Spencer is racing against time to return home and save his family. Alexandra faces a difficult trans-Atlantic journey to reunite with Spencer. The Duttons must overcome multiple threats to secure their legacy.
