Flossie, a 26-year-old cat, partially blind and deaf, has been named the oldest British cat in the world. On November 10, Flossie, who currently lives with her fourth owner, made a world record by entering at the age of 26 years and 316 days.

Flossie and Her Owners

Flossie was helped by two staff members of a Merseyside hospital. She was a stray cat when she was found by her first owner, who passed away after ten years. Later, the cat spent 14 years with the owner's sister.

Flossie then lived with another relative until she was given to the Cats Protection Charity due to some circumstances.

Vicki Green: Flossie's Fourth Owner

The tortoiseshell moggy, which is the same age as a human being of 120 years, was adopted by the Cats Protection group and given to Vicki Green.

Vicki Green is a 27-year-old woman who lives in Orpington, southeast London. Vicki expressed how she feels about Flossie being her pet. She said she never imagined living with someone with a Guinness World Record. She described Flossie as quite attractive and loving.

Ever since Flossie moved in with Vicki, she has adjusted wonderfully. Due to her disabilities, she was uncomfortable for the first few nights. However, now she sleeps through the night comfortably with her owner.
