Her husband called the search party after he found some of her clothes and tools on Sunday night. The snake was 16 feet long (5m), and the villagers killed it to verify whether it had eaten the woman. While it is a rare occurrence, it is not the first time something like this has happened in Indonesia. Similar incidents took place in 2017 and 2018 in Indonesia.
