Dark Horse, Katy Perry’s hit song of 2013, faces backlash in the wake of the release of a Netflix show about Jeffery Dahmer, named Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

The lyrics of the song mention a cannibal who murdered and dismembered 17 boys and men. The song features a rap by Juicy J, which states, “She eats your heart out like Jeffery Dahmer.”

• The song has created chaos on the internet as people call out Katy Perry for including criminal Jeffery Dahmer's name in her lyrics.

• People call it vile and awful lyrics.
• Many other artists, apart from the Idol judge, Katy Perry, have referred to Jeffrey in their music and are thus blamed and criticized for their insensitive actions.

In 1991, the police officers of the US hunted his Milwaukee apartment, and there they discovered half-cooked meat of humans and a head stored in the refrigerator. The police arrested Jeffery Dahmer on July 22, 1991. The police had enough proof of his crime.
