British welterweight Conor Benn voluntarily relinquished his boxing licence after failing a drug test. The positive dope test also led to the scrapping of a match between him and Chrish Eubank Jr.

The British Boxing Board of Control (BBBBofC) released a statement regarding Conor Benn's boxing license. In the statement, the British Boxing Board of Control said they had upheld some allegations of misconduct against Conor Benn. The BBBOfC summoned Benn on October 21 for a hearing regarding the same allegations. On Wednesday, in the statement, the British Boxing Board of Control said that on the morning of the hearing, Conor Benn came and voluntarily relinquished his licence with the BBBofC.
