George Ward, widely known by his stage name Cherry Valentine, was a Darlington, England-based drag queen and mental health nurse.


He participated in the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race UK after appearing on a television career and starring in the BBC documentary Gypsy Queen And Proud. He was raised as a Traveller in Darlington, County Durham, and certified as a mental health nurse in 2015 before beginning his career in drag. George was one of 12 candidates for the second series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK in December 2020.
