Daniel Radcliffe's "Weird: The Al Yankovic Story" is a parody with many storylines that do not happen in real life. The "Weird: The Al Yankovic Story" trailer released in August, and some thought it suggested a romance between the parody singer and Madonna. People became so curious that "Weird Al" became one of the most searched terms on Google. Weird Al Yankovic has cleared record now.
Did Weird Al Yankovic and Madonna date?
To burst anyone's bubble, they did not date. The American singer Weird Al Yankovic appeared on the Jimmy Fallon show on November 1 and clarified that Madonna's role in the movie is a heightened version compared to the reality that occurred. The film showed the two getting intimate. However, their real-life relationship is not as described. Weird Al Yankovic was aware of what people were thinking because of the trailer and said only a few things are real in the biopic. He confirmed he only shared a platonic friendship with Madonna. He said he had only met her once, in 1985, and spoke for around 45 seconds. He concluded by saying that's the extent of the relationship.
