What does FIFA and EA's split mean for fans of football games?

Indian football mainstay, Sunil Chhetri, is the subject of a three episode series on FIFA’s streaming service.

The Indian captain has 84 international goals, which is the most for an active player, behind only Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

“You know all about Ronaldo and Messi, now get the definitive story of the third highest scoring active men's international,” tweeted FIFA announcing the series on Chhetri’s life.

On the all time international goals list, Chhetri places fifth and is only six goals behind Argentine superstar Messi. On the active list he places third, here’s a look at the others on the list.

Portugal’s talisman, the Manchester United player has a record 117 goals on the international stage, having played 191 games for his country and still chugging along.

Arguably the greatest player the game has ever seen, former Barcelona playmaker Lionel Messi is in search of an elusive World Cup this year. In his hunt for the honour, he’s scored 90 goals in 164 appearances.

One of the few players from outside of major footballing nations, the United Arab Emirates’ Ali Mabkhout is fourth on the active list, having scored 80 goals in 108 games.

Poland powerhouse Robert Lewandowski places fifth on the active goal scorers list, continuing to shoulder the Polish team’s scoring burden, netting 76 in 134 games

Messi’s Paris teammate and friend, Brazilian sensation Neymar Jr is sixth on the list, having scored 75 goals in 121 games in the yellow jersey.
